Olocip has signed an agreement with the Marbella Town Hall to carry out, by using artificial intelligence, the digital transformation of the city’s tourism sector.

To this end, the local government has created a Tourism Observatory for the prediction and study of data from the Marbella tourism sector.

Among the objectives of the intelligent project that Olocip is developing for Marbella are:

  • The creation of its own system that will allow the city on the Costal del Sol to stop depending on statistics from external sources.
  • To be able to analyse the data by applying artificial intelligence based on historical patterns and variables such as seasonality or unexpected factors such as Covid-19.
  • To know in advance how markets will behave or where the municipality will have to focus its efforts in terms of products, segments or specific customers.
  • With the implementation of artificial intelligence it will be possible to boost the already important tourist image of Marbella in order to optimise processes and obtain the greatest possible benefit for citizens, large and small businesses and large companies in the sector (hotels, sports, retail…) with the clear objective of increasing consumption and reducing seasonality.
